The Four Houses

The Four Houses — Amber Hammer, Golden Locket, Cobalt Compass and Emerald Shield — represent four paths, each centered on a unique set of values intended to help students find fulfillment.

Each of the Nine Colleges was founded with one of the Four Houses at its core.

The Amber Hammer has Mentiad and Zarroth colleges, the Golden Locket has Exultix and Idos, the Cobalt Compass has Esoteria and Obscurion and the Emerald Shield has Bastior, Wardus and Endurum.

At the Arcanum, however, all four houses coexist. Each house at the Arcanum has its own advisor and living quarters, but also its own stories, secrets and relics. Students must declare for a house during a ceremony at the close of their first month on campus.

Even after graduation, alumni are likely to find allies in fellow graduates of the same house whether they declared at the Arcanum or studied at one of their houses’ colleges.
